Over the years, many community events have been developed to help in raising donations. This page highlights just a few of the wonderful programs that continue to support "PMIFK".

For many years, Illusions Hair Design & West Seattle Rotary held a raffle in which winners received prizes donated by local community members & businesses. Here we see Gary Potter, of Potter Construction drawing the grand prize winner from 2005. That winner received 2 Round-Trip airline tickets anywhere in the lower contiguous 48 states.

Monies have also been raised through matching gift funds from purchased "paper pencils" at Illusions Hair Design.

Miss Seafair 2005, Melissa Parks, and her friends were some of many community members who supported this program in 2006. In 2008, 1/2 of ALL monies raised from "Have a Heart Day" were also donated to "PMIFK".

Thank You West Seattle Thriftway!

2008 donations totalled  $1500!!!

Paul, the manager has also been MORE THAN GENEROUS with his donations of meats when Illusions and West Seattle Rotary have put on "PMIFK" benefit dinners held at the West Seattle Eagles. If you see him, say "Hi", and "Thank you", for supporting us year after year!

You may see "PMIFK" listed on the donation chalkboard inside of West Seattle Thriftway's south entrance wall. They have chosen on many occasions to hold BBQ lunches, where they have donated all of the proceeds to "PMIFK".

We would like to thank Liberty Bell Printing for their generous support of many printable marketing material over the years. This includes fliers, raffle tickets, "pencils", stickers, and not to mention their donation of their space in front of their store for many Junction Festival events. THANKS MICHAEL!!!

In 2007, "PMIFK" was the only West Seattle non-profit to benefit from assistance by World Vision for school supplies. They provided us with much needed notebooks and paper for the kids.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

West Seattle's CURIOUS KIDSTUFF toy store joined the pencil brigade for 2007, selling "pencils" and accepting donations for "PMIFK". They matched each donation, and raised just under $300. Thanks to Ann Walker and her staff!!!

The staff of Illusions, Rotarians, and

community volunteers host dinners

during the year at The West Seattle Eagles F.O.E 2643.

In years past we have served Lasagna, Chicken, or Rib dinners

that are accompanied with a salad bar and dessert.

All of the food is donated, and

dinner ticket sales are donated to "PMIFK".

Watch for upcoming dates for these

SELL-OUT events to be posted here!

We are also thankful to the Eagle's for allowing us to

use their parking lot for "PMIFK" Car Washes!

Look to our site for information on any future events!

Many supplies are donated each year by individuals, and businesses in our community. We would like to say a special "Thank You" to our local "STAPLES" at Westwood Towne Center for their continued support, and for accommodating such large requests for supplies-at great prices! Thank you to past Managers, and current Manager, Clark Calvin, and his staff!

West Seattle's Square 1 Books joined the pencil brigade for 2009, and will also be selling “pencils” & accepting donations for "PMIFK". Thank you to Gretchen and her staff!
