I grew up in West Seattle, and am proud to call Illusions my home for more than 30 years. I've always admired the companies and educators from Pivot Point and Tony & Guy, (Anthony Mascolo is a favorite), who collectively have given me a strong foundation in haircutting. I enjoy working with clients and collaborating with our entire Illusions team. A highlight of my years as a stylist would have to be the time several of our stylist team and I traveled to Cancun, Mexico for a hair show. Getting lost in the jungle was never more fun!

Having started my journey as a hairstylist in my early twenties, (nearly 10 years after the first time I "tried" to cut a friend's hair), my time in beauty school was where I felt my love for creativity start to shine. As a hair stylist, I've found that I thoroughly enjoy coloring and cutting because it forces me to analyze, create, and change. Each day brings new possibilities when it comes to giving clients what they are looking for in their hair. I've attended advanced training in hair cutting and coloring in California, Texas, and New York. Outside of the salon you can find me baking, (biscotti is one of my favorites), and out in the city with my phone or camera, working on my love for nature photography and capturing special moments with my friends and family.

Precision, and an eye for detail is probably what I enjoy most about being a hair stylist. I have found that creating easy looks for individual lifestyles though a variety of coloring and cutting techniques has kept me passionate for our industry for nearly 30 years. I tend to keep myself busy when I'm not at work, being involved in the community, working in my garden, or creating fun and healthy meals for my family and friends.
